                物质科学电镜中心简介

                Centre for High-resolution Electron MicroscopyC?EM



                    Centre for High-resolution Electron Microscopy (C?EM) has been newly established as a major research facility at the School of Physical Science and Technology (SPST), ShanghaiTech University, China. Its mission is to promote the advancement of electron microscopy science and to support research activities in SPST. The research focus of C?EM is toward soft and electron-beam sensitive materials, at the intersections of Materials, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For education, the Centre is dedicated to provide all users, including PhD students, opportunities to gain basic knowledge and practical skills in electron microscopy. The inauguration of C?EM took place in May 27-29, 2018. The installation of a state of art S/TEM (JEOL Grand ARM300F) with double correctors has been completed just before the inauguration. This instrument has joined the existing lineup of 200kV and 120 kV TEMs, and W- and FEG SEMs at C?EM. In-situ/environmental TEM, Auger EM and FIB instruments have also running well, which endows the centre with in- situ characterisation capabilities, including the time/energy domain.
